The 3rd Beijing International Symposium and Workshop on Robotic Cardiac Surgery (BISROCS 2012) was successfully held from July 14-16, 2012 at the PLA General Hospital in Beijing, China.

During the past 3 days, BISROCS 2012 successfully completed its tasks — more than 20 world renowned professors and scholars from France, USA, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, mainland China and so on spoke at the conference. 4 robotic live surgeries on cardiac surgery and 6 robotic live surgeries on multiple disciplines have all been successfully performed, which has attracted more than 400 participants from all over the
world.

About the Meeting:

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we cordially invite you to participate in The 3^rd Beijing International Symposium and Workshop on Robotic Cardiac Surgery (BISROCS 2012), which will be held July 14–16, 2012, at PLA General Hospital in Beijing, China.

BISROCS is a biennial international conference organized by PLA General Hospital, and co-sponsored by Minimally Invasive Robotic Association (MIRA) and Society of Robotic Surgery (SRS). The conference is designed to create a didactic and interactive experience for colleagues from around the globe by featuring the latest robotic live surgeries and keynote lectures by world leading scientists and experts.

Concurrent with the cardiac surgery track, BISROCS 2012 will also highlight various multi-disciplinary scientific sessions, including thoracic surgery, general surgery, gynaecology, hepatology and urology.
